Launched in 2014, The Bronx Hot Sauce works with more than thirty Bronx community gardens, providing them with serrano pepper seeds and then buying the peppers back once they are harvested. As such, they wanted to ensure that their branding, messaging and packaging was not only reflective of an organic, locally sourced product but that it would also stand out on the shelves of Whole Foods and other stores where it’s sold. I was brought on to create the brand’s visual identity, packaging, website and a collection of promotional assets. As the brand’s popularity and product offerings grow I continue to work with them across brand design, digital development and strategy.
