The Bronx Hot Sauce, Brand Development

Launched in 2014, The Bronx Hot Sauce is a unique brand, growing their serrano peppers in thirty Bronx community gardens. As such, they wanted to ensure that their branding, messaging and packaging was not only reflective of an organic, locally sourced product but that it would also stand out on the shelves of Whole Foods and other stores where it’s sold. I was brought on to create the brand’s visual identity, packaging, website and a collection of promotional assets. The recent popularity of hot sauce has resulted in a rapidly growing category and necessitates differentiation, making this project a fun challenge.
