Based in Red Hook, Brooklyn, Hometown Bar-B-Que specializes in authentic, pit-smoked meats prepared in the classic Southern technique of smoking on oak wood. For their logo, they asked that I design a Southern BBQ-inspired graphic with typography reflective of the industrial Red Hook neighborhood in which they are loctaed. Ultimately, two versions were created to satisfy their brand extensions, such as a variety of sauces and apparel.
