To create the short, narrative film, La Prochaine Fois (The Next Time), for the women’s surf brand Pret-Á-Surf, I collaborated with producer/director Duffy Higgins. Combining a vintage, French-Pop aesthetic with a contemporary American cinematic mindset, the heroine navigates her ambitions through a dream-like lens. The result is a unique presentation of Pret-Á-Surf’s Resort ’10/’11 line in the context of a narrative that leaves the fate of its’ characters open to interpretation.
Shot in 2010 and featuring model Elsa Hosk, this short fashion brand film has stood the test of time, still being viewed consistently and regarded as a creative and compelling approach to original brand content.
